About the Company:
 

The Airline aims to provide passenger and cargo transport services, initially operating inter-island with plans to expand for international flights. The management team possesses extensive experience in the aviation sector, specializing in ultra-low-cost operations and with deep knowledge of the domestic market.

Transverde is working to get the Air Operator Certificate and aims to achieve break-even in its fourth year of operations. In the initial phase, the startup will utilize a fleet of three ATR-42/72 aircraft leases.

  • Capital Via: Equity / Debt

  • Purpose: Capital requirements to obtain the Air Operator Certificate (AOC), hire management team, set up route network, acquire fleet, and enhance operational capabilities.

    • $2.0m Hire Management team, Obtain the AOC, Aircraft leasing (Pre-Operations).

    • $7.0m Working capital, Infrastructure Build-Out, Domestic Operations (Phase 1).

    • $6.0m Expand Domestic Operations, Working Capital (Phase 2).

Unique Selling Points:

Business Model: Low-Cost Carrier (LCC), point-to-point service.

Target Market: Connecting Cabo Verde with West Africa and the Diaspora community in immigrant markets. Other markets to follow.

The company has established offices in Cabo Verde and the United States of America. The Board of Directors has invested over US$750,000 in overhead development expenses, market research, international investment forums, specialized training, and the initial setup of the headquarters. With a Load Factor of 65%, the business model projects 1.4 million Passengers approx.

 

Cabo Verde is a good strategic geographical location, between Africa, Europe, and America. The country comprises 10 islands of which 9 are inhabited.
